Career & Expertise
Over two decades of building platforms, leading teams, and solving hard problems across cloud, data, software, and enterprise architecture.
Key roles and the impact behind them.
Cloud Architect — Current
Cloud architect focused on building AI and real-time data systems for a compliance-driven enterprise software company.
Technical Architect — Service Cloud & Health Cloud
Delivered enterprise-grade solutions across Service Cloud and Health Cloud in healthcare and compliance-intensive environments.
Architect
Built big data analysis engines and contributed to platforms handling massive-scale legal and risk data, working across .NET, Java, and distributed systems.
Chief Architect
Worked directly on customer engagements of all sizes — from small business solutions to large enterprise projects — with a strong focus on big data analytics and compliance work.
Architect
Built and delivered software products across a range of business domains, contributing to full-lifecycle development and strengthening core engineering skills that carried forward throughout my career.
Beyond full-time roles, I've explored and built ideas that bridge technology and business opportunity.
Explored and prototyped platforms for regulated industries — combining compliance requirements with modern cloud architecture.
A high-performance compute design tool — exploring the intersection of hardware architecture, system configuration, and engineering tooling.
Created a data-driven platform for NCAA softball tracking, analysis, and competitive insight — merging a personal passion with engineering.
Explored AI-powered data products and workflows — applying applied AI and automation to real business problems.
Deep focus on data — platforms, pipelines, AI infrastructure, and the architectural patterns that hold it all together.
My approach to architecture, engineering, and getting things done.
Everything I do starts with people. Working with customers and colleagues, understanding their problems, earning their trust — that's the foundation. Technology doesn't matter if you can't listen, collaborate, and deliver together.
As a former college athlete, I believe the best outcomes come from being team-first. The discipline, preparation, and accountability you learn in competitive athletics — those things never leave you. The best architecture decisions happen when everyone is aligned, when communication is clear, and when the team is pulling in the same direction.
I lead with relationships because that's how you build things that last — not just systems, but teams, trust, and shared understanding.
I believe in making the right tradeoffs, not chasing theoretical perfection. Architecture should solve real problems, ship reliably, and be maintainable by the team that inherits it — not just impressive on a diagram.
Working in healthcare and regulated environments taught me that compliance isn't a burden — it's a design constraint. The best architectures bake in governance, auditability, and data integrity from the start.
I operate comfortably at both altitudes — whiteboard strategy sessions with stakeholders and deep-in-the-code implementation. The best architects don't just draw boxes; they understand what's inside them.
Scalability isn't about over-engineering from day one. It's about designing systems that can grow — clear boundaries, clean data contracts, observability, and patterns that flex when the demands change.
Whether it's a consulting engagement, architecture review, or something new — I'd love to hear from you.
